Now that I've accepted a job offer from elsewhere, and I have such a positive experience to compare this to, I realize just how bad my experience with Cambly was. First of all, the interview went way over time. It was scheduled for an hour, but we spent an and a half just on her questions. Then, when I tried to ask some of my own, I was made to feel like there wasn't time, even though there was no time because she didn't allocate any. Time she always be put aside for candidates to ask questions. Every question she asked, she dug into a bunch of different scenarios that were VERY specific. In retrospect, it honestly seems like they just wanted a free consultation. She specified that the scenarios she presented were all real problems they were dealing with, and any time I posed a solution, she asked a ton of questions about how I thought things would go from there. What pitfalls they might encounter, and how I would solve those too. No questions were really asked about my previous experience. It was all about Cambly's current issues. Then, after spending an hour and a half on this interview, I never heard a word from Dorothy, even after multiple followups. Really unprofessional and disrespectful of candidate's time. I would never apply here again. If you value your time, look elsewhere.
