One of the most disappointing interview experience I've encountered. The HR was professional and responsive, but the panel interviewer appeared knowing nothing about my background at all. Much of the conversation felt disconnected and little genuine interest in understanding my experience, product thinking, or context behind the product I've built. Several questions suggested limited understanding of pm responsibilities and disrespect of the role. One particularly frustrating moment was when an interviewer mocked the product of my current company for “having no technical moat.” and started laughing at me. Regardless of their opinion, I found the behavior unprofessional and unnecessarily disrespectful during an interview setting. Overall, the process left me with the impression of a team with weak alignment on both hiring standards and candidate experience.
