I applied online. The recruiter asked me some questions about my background. The recruiter kept telling me he would hire me today because he claimed the firm had plenty of bridge design work in Texas and Arizona. I received a second call from their Hawaii office. The firm leader claimed he had work in Hawaii and wanted me to start on it immediately. He kept asking me for specific questions about how to design bridges in a seismic area in California as well as my contacts in California. This was obviously a fake interview. The corporate recruiter lied to me about the bridge design work the firm had. I was ghosted after the interview. The recruiter participated in evidence destruction by removing the internet post where I asked him when I would hear back. They obviously interviewed candidates for fake engineering positions because they were not posted on the firm's website. I was told by the recruiter to keep quiet about my bad recruitment experience. If they are this bad now, I can only imagine what it is like to work for them - which may be awful.
