Met with the hiring manager and a HR Person. Interview consisted of a review of my CV and most recent work experience in similar roles in financial services and insurance companies. Questions asked were very high level and didn't seem to relate to the job spec; mid-way through interview the hiring manager said the role was a hybrid between system management and migration to new architecture. At end of interview I was told I'd get feedback in 2-3 days. I asked for feedback after a week - no response. I asked for feedback after 2 weeks - no response. Finally heard that the role has gone to another candidate. Experience as an external candidate would be negative; HR lack professionalism and job spec did not reflect the role in question.
