After about a week of applying online got an email for telephone interview from a HR consultant. The interview mainly focused on review of my resume, experience and behavioural. It was detailed and lasted about a hour. Questions mainly asked centered around providing specific examples of the situations faced in leadership and sales. Like: Tell me about an example when you successfully dealt with a difficult employee; Tell me about an example when your recommendations were accepted in a group. I believed that all went well and hoped to get call for second interview. I received an email after about a month that the position had been filled, however, my credentials were of interest to CIBC.
