I though the first interview went really well and was told I'd hear back by the end of the week if I'd be moving on to the next interview (first interview was on a Tuesday). Friday comes and I don't hear anything. I call Monday to see if they had made a decision, I guess the hiring manager that told me that I should hear by the end of the week, was actually on vacation, not to worry and he would be back in a couple days. cool. End of that second week comes and i still havent heard back. I email the company's recruiter/talent specialist asking for an update on exactly 2 weeks after the interview for an update. He never responded. Emailed him again at the end of that third full week of waiting that I was really disappointed in the lack of transparency (considering that was my anwser to "what qualities do you look for in a leader?" question ). THEN I finally got a phone call back about he just now found out about me not getting the position. Not even made about not getting it. Just wish they were as genuine as they sounded from first impression.
