My interview experience was very straightforward and low‑pressure. The initial conversation took place over a short phone call, and the tone was friendly and conversational rather than formal. The interviewer started by asking a few basic questions about me — nothing technical or overly detailed — just enough to get a sense of my background and personality.
They asked why I was interested in the company and what specifically drew me to the role. It felt more like they wanted to understand my motivation and whether I had taken the time to learn about the organization, rather than quizzing me on anything complicated. They also asked about what I do outside of the experiences listed on my résumé, which gave me a chance to talk about my interests, side projects, and the things I’m involved in that show who I am beyond academics or work.

1st round is a 30-minute online call. It is a simple behavioral interview.
2nd round is an in-person office visit with two interviews. One is behavioral, and the second is supposed to be more technical. In reality, both are behavioral. Though, I would recommend reviewing some basic OOP concepts and basic things about Java, or the language in the position description.
They ended up ghosting all the candidates for the summer of 2026. They did not get back to anyone who sent them an email or even talked to them in person at the career fair after the interview.
The interviews are very straightforward and friendly, but they did not end up hiring or rejecting a single candidate from the second, and final, round.
