I was contacted by someone on the global recruiting team in Dallas and had a phone screen scheduled. After a pretty standard phone screen, an in person meeting with the hiring manager was scheduled. While meeting with her I could sense that she wasn't comfortable with my side work and was worried about the amount of time it would consume. Surprisingly, later that day the recruiter contacted me with positive feedback from my interview. HE asked for samples of presentations I'd created and said we were most likely moving on to the next round. I never heard from him again. I followed up with him and he never responded to my emails. I totally understand not getting a position but I do think it's common courtesy to inform me of that either via direct contact or your automated system. Pretty unprofessional.

No phone contact was made by the recruiter. Following my resume submission, I was sent a video link to record myself answering 4 questions. Applied successfully and had no feedback from the team why the application was unsuccessful and instead just sent an automated generic "thanks..but unsuccessful" email reply. Would have appreciated some specific feedback why as time was taken to complete the interview. I did reach out to the email contact about this role requesting feedback and did not receive a reply. I believe my salary expectationss were higher than what the role was paying as my experience was not the downfall. A response from the team member contacted would have been appreciated.

Tell us about yourself and why you are interested in this role with CBRE.
The hiring manager was completely unorganized. The manager even forgot that she interviewed me in the first place. The manager also rescheduled our interview two times in one day. Seems like red flags everywhere

There were two rounds of review with a week between the rounds. Interviewers were very personable and we had a lot of synergy. But the job description did not match the actual duties. Advertised as a marketing position but they really just wanted an experienced Designer. I found out that the previous job applicant held the position for just a week.

I was extensively asked about my graphic design experience which I wasn't expecting because the job they were interviewing for was for marketing.
