Acudí a una entrevista en CAVU (Manchester, Inglaterra)

      Entrevista

I interviewed for a Marketing Analyst role at CAVU. Overall, the interview process was okay and progressed through multiple stages, ending at the final round in the UK. For the last stage, I was given a full week to complete a take-home task and genuinely enjoyed working on it. I put significant time and energy into the analysis and the presentation, and during the presentation itself I received only positive feedback. After both the first and second stages, I was also told I was a top candidate and was even considered for another role, which set expectations fairly high. A couple of days later, I was informed that I was not successful because the presentation was “too scripted.” This feedback was disappointing and confusing, especially as no guidance was provided beforehand on the expected presentation style. If there are specific preferences around how a presentation should be delivered (e.g. conversational vs. structured), this should be clearly communicated in advance — not after a candidate has invested significant effort preparing and delivering it. The process felt professional overall, but the final feedback lacked clarity and left a sense that expectations shifted at the very end. That was frustrating given the time commitment and the positive signals throughout the earlier stages.
