A very tiny group of 5 developers, that were interviewing their future Boss. The head of the area wasn't sure what he was looking for: "a strong lead", "a Manager" or "Director of Software Development" (IMHO, you have to chose one before you call people in.) All 5 people got to interview the candidate one at a time, most lacked experience interviewing or knew what to ask a potential leader. FYI, if you say you will email or call back to give a status on the position - please follow through. It's just a courtesy that you offered or don't make that offer.
