The process consisted of three rounds: Round 1 – JavaScript & React Fundamentals: This round focused on core JavaScript and React concepts. The interviewer asked questions related to closures, promises, event loop, and React fundamentals like hooks and component lifecycle. There were also a few JavaScript coding and output-based questions to test problem-solving and understanding of async behavior. Round 2 – Machine Coding (React + TypeScript): In this round, I was asked to build a stopwatch application using React and TypeScript. The interviewer evaluated code structure, state management, and overall implementation. Follow-up questions were asked regarding optimization, handling edge cases, and improving the component design. Round 3 – Cultural Fit / HR Round: This round focused on understanding my background, projects, and alignment with the company’s culture. Questions were mostly behavioral, such as teamwork, challenges faced, and motivation to join the company. Overall, the interview process was structured and focused on both technical skills and practical implementation.
