Initial contact was a phone call asking about my interest in the position and brief salary requirements. To show my effectiveness as a designer, I was asked to create 3 ads and a brochure and given approximately 3 days. I submitted the work on time, and was told I'd receive a call to schedule an interview. This was then rescinded and I was asked to do another round of spec graphic design work with roughly the same time frame. This time the request was 2 additional ads using illustration techniques. I submitted these on time and after approximately 2 weeks of no contact or replies to a follow up, I was notified I was not selected.
