I had a talk on the phone with the company ( I was previously a student of one of the firm's partners), then they asked me to come talk with them about the job. I then came in one morning to show my resume and portfolio, and talked with the president and vice president of the company. They showed me around the office, after our discussion, describing where my desk would be. They then introduced me to some of the employees, and allowed me to ask questions about the job and the company.
