5 stage interview process (all virtual) with recruiter, team member that was previously in the role, hiring manager, HRBP and Regional HR Manager. Safe to say there was a toxic pattern for each interview as every scheduled call had started 10-15mins late due to the interviewer “running overtime” from their meetings/calls. Most of the interviews were hyper fixated on my ability to deal with difficult people, receiving and giving negative feedback as well as thoughts on working overtime. Not sure if this speaks to their current culture/team dynamic? When asked about their comments and personal views on the company culture I was met with “what do you mean?” as a response - as though it was something non existent in the company. The interviews seemed more like an interrogation than a cordial conversation. It was also implied that micromanagement and burnout is a guarantee for whoever steps into the position. Workplace flexibility/ hybrid work is something that they’re beginning to phase out, was told by the recruiter that global teams are looking to introduce full 5 days return to the office in the near term.
