      Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en ByteDance (Palo Alto, CA) en may 2019

      Entrevista

      Phone screen with HR, phone screen with Peer, then scheduled meeting with Hiring Manager. Scheduling was horrendous. Got a call out of the blue from HR. Turns out coordinator forgot to invite me to the meeting. Pleasant meeting with HR. Got schedule with the Hiring manager. Meeting with Marketing Peer was strange. You're asked how to build a team and marketing plan, when the company shares little as to their market strategy. Website is useless in its current form, doesn't indicate what they can do or why they exist. Seems like a consumer company trying to penetrate the enterprise with no clear idea as to how to do it. After the peer interview, the hiring manager interview was cancelled. This is a poor way to treat a candidate. Meeting shouldn't have been scheduled if they hadn't decided it was right to meet the hiring manager. Overall, not a good experience. They came across as disorganized, with little understanding of how to treat candidates here, or build a business in the US. I with them the best of luck.
