Management has the senior developer prepare the entire process himself. The rest of the staff assists as far as referring friends, sorting through potential candidates, and etc. when the time comes. I was interviewed on site in their client office and asked various life questions. Answering in a personal, straightforward manner was successful. During the review of one of my sites, there were some issues that we talked over and then we examined some of the code. Everything checked out as far as the analysis of my skills was concerned, and then after some closing words I was introduced to the rest of the company before being given a parking pass and goodbyes were said.
As essentially a continuation of the interview process, I was invited out before my first day of work to one of their larger clients. A meeting was had to decide scope and take notes on the project I was being hired for.
