Bunnings kindly included a “personality assessment” with this email. I assume generated from my resume and interview responses. Some of it was accurate but most of it way off the mark. A generic ChatGPT or similar platform process. Cheap and cheerful. So, my thoughts to get to an in person interview the process is fully automated, most likely a company policy. I also feel that your performance in a 2 minute blind interview, where the questions asked have been answered previously, is heavily weighted in the assessment. Perhaps your presentation, age, how you sell yourself is being assessed by automation ( Bunnings says that these are revised in person) A friend who works at Bunnings said don’t give up, keep applying and you may get there.
