Normal enough in theory. Phone screen followed by a 30 minute interview with the CMO. I had applied for a full time role and it wasn’t until the end of the interview that I was told the role would actually likely be part time and contracted. I expressed that I was still interested, was left hanging for a week and a half, then received a soft rejection from the recruiter that they were headed in an entirely different direction with the role. It seemed a bit slapdash, disorganized, and there was a level of ambiguity surrounding the role that needs refining. My skills can use some refining as well, so no harm no foul. It was a good learning process.
