      Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 4 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en BrowserStack (Mumbai) en nov 2021

      Entrevista

      The first round of interaction was on a phone call to understand my current profile and background. This gave way to the first round of assignments. 1. I was asked to write an article on a topic given to me and was also given a written article that needed to be reviewed and edited. 2. After passing the first set of assignments, I was asked to devise a content strategy and reviewed on management skills of leading a small team of writer in-house and from agency. This included research on topics, SEO requirements, improving/experimenting on different writing formats creatively, implementation and execution of writing, editing and publishing requirements. 3. I was also then asked to write sample 9 emailers. A set of 3 had one objective, another set another objective and so on. After this extensive and exhaustive written assignments, I passed through to speak to one of the talent acquisition members, who then approved me for second round with the Director of the vertical. The interview went extremely well, the synergy was good and all in all it was a positive experience. I even spoke to the HR who understood my background and requirements and explained to me about the company culture. After follow ups on email, I was told that I did not pass through. I was disappointment but I understand there could have been some requirements which were not met by my skillset. I gave them a good review in their after-interview email process and moved on. Now here is where I thought the company and the interview process was highly unprofessional and frankly disappointing. After 3 months of the interview, I get a call from one of their team members asking me what went wrong and if I would still be interested in the position because the Director really liked my profile and would like to take this forward. However, this time, they would like to speak to me for a slightly higher role. The conversation seemed like they were ready to offer the job to me the next day! After several follow ups, they said that I will just have to speak to the VP in the USA and see how it goes from there. Again, after several back and forths, the interview with the VP was pleasant. it was only a 15 min chat where he asked nothing which was not already asked of me. It seemed like a basic "get to know you" interview. After a week, I was told I did not pass the interview and when I asked them for a feedback, they kept delaying and saying no, the Director would still like to have a conversation with you and that is why we are folding out on the feedback. It's been weeks and I've of course still not heard from them.
