First, you have an interview with members of the research group. You have to prepare a 15 min presentation, the HR interviews you regarding behavioral questions!. The process is excellent, very respectful people that value what you can bring to the table and your persona.

I gave an online presentation based on my Ph.D. research. Followed by individual meetings with lab members. Overall a good experience talking with many people and knowing about their research too.

Phone Interview - On-site Interview
Phone Interview: PI asked questions about my research in grad school and introduced what projects the candidate will be working on.
On-site Interview: One whole day on-site interview where I met a couple of scientists and gave a presentation. Most of scientists that I met onsite were the people the candidate would mainly work with or collaborate with. There were technical questions about my past research and skills, and also about the projects the candidate would be working on.
