      Entrevista

      A disappointing experience with Brightlocal. I had a couple of informal conversations with their recruiter and two more interviews including a presentation. All very positive. One interview had so be repeated due to technical issues which is fine - this happens. I was however surprised that the role was then put on hold as they were looking for a specific level of experience. I do feel they could have judged this before a person has had the amount of interviews I had and taken time to work on a presentation. I presume there were several other people who were also rejected in the same way which makes me wonder if the company understand what it is they actually require from this role.

Your feedback is valuable in helping us to improve in the future. We understand the effort and time that goes into preparing for interviews and a presentation, and we don't take that lightly. We also appreciate why you feel that the feedback you received was disappointing. Sadly, there are occasions where the needs of a role shift unexpectedly. The business is constantly evolving at pace due to the market, and occasionally requirements change as a result. Unfortunately, that's what happened here. We could have handled the way that we communicated that to you better, and that is something we will take on board for the future. We wish you all the best in your search.
