I applied online and was contacted immediately for an interview. The phone interview was pleasant and consisted mainly of a few simple screening questions and a few specific questions about my knowledge of Bridgewater's unique philosophy and culture. The second interview (1:1, onsite) was videotaped as are almost all meetings at Bridgewater. The interviewer, a senior member of the HR team, was lively and engaging and the conversation was fascinating. Because of my interest and knowledge in the culture and philosophy, I was deemed an excellent match for the company but not for the particular position - the description was still in flux. I have not reapplied at Bridgewater since but would definitely consider doing so again.
