About a week after submitting my mock teaching video, I was invited to a Zoom interview. It lasted an hour, with questions switching between emotional intelligence and classroom scenarios. My interviewer was very kind and encouraging. I also had time at the end of the interview to ask a couple questions.

Entrevista
The person I spoke to was very kind and welcoming. She asked about why I chose Breakthrough NY as my top choice and asked some scenario questions in the classroom. She also asked if I knew the core values and wanted me to elaborate on which one resonated most with me. Left some time for questions at the end.

The interview process was quite easy. You just have to add references, location preferences, some short answer responses, and so on. A typical application for similar programs. Make sure to take your time with the questions and be open to new locations.
