Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en Braze (Chicago, IL) en abr 2021

The interview process was just like any other. I got pooled into the candidates for the role through the recruiter on LinkedIn. I never actually applied, but instead I received a message saying my background is impressive and everything else the typical LinkedIn messages say. Got bypassed for the phone screen and sent directly to the hiring manager. First interview with the hiring manager was chill and a normal conversation over the phone. After that I completed a panel interview with 2 potential teammates, followed by a mock presentation to about 5 individuals.
I’m not going to sit here and say the interview process was poor, because it wasn’t. My issue was the lack of diversity through the interview process, which is a shame in 2021, and should’ve been a red flag for me. I didn’t end up getting the role, which was extremely frustrating due to the fact you have to create a presentation as the final step. I spent time away from my current job to complete a thorough and detailed, quality presentation. After that, I received a generic letter stating they went with “applicants that better matched their needs”. With the time and effort i put in, you’d think I’d receive some personal touch to the email. Keep in mind the recruiter sought me out on LinkedIn, not the other way around. Overall, the company offers a cool product, but their interview diversity can use some touching up.
Straightforward process, just a lot of effort and time to risk not getting the role.

Very positive. Lots of information provided to help with the interview process and incentives to show gratitude for the time it takes to interview. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly, it seems like a great place to work

Step one: Recruiter interview (easy, friendly)
Step two: Director of Customer Success interview (moderate, friendly)
Step three: Two Senior CSM interviews (moderate, friendly)
Step four: Case presentation with two Senior CSMs and one CS Director (challenging, friendly)
Feedback: An automated rejection email was sent without any specific feedback. I followed up requesting additional insights but did not receive a response. While the interview experience was professional and the team was welcoming throughout the process, candidates should not expect detailed feedback regarding the hiring decision. I progressed to the final stage and presented a comprehensive business review covering the company's solution, client use case, usability, and technical capabilities. Although the discussion was positive and the presentation was well received, no further explanation was provided regarding the final decision. You're not important for them if you don't have use for them.

How would you take of the priorities with a book of business of many urgent requests at the same time.
Screening call with the recruiter, easy take home assessment, 3x rounds with Customer Success Directors. Everyone I spoke with was nice, but I got rejected with an automated email providing no feedback. Considering they are not a big company, they should consider providing feedback to applicants to avoid ruining the application experience
