      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Braze (New York, NY) en ago 2019

      Entrevista

      Started out on a great note, and was pleasantly surprised at first. Spoke with the recruiter who then set me up for a 1:1 with hiring manager, followed by a short project, and an on site with three 1:1's, including the hiring manager again. The interview went smoothly and the executive I interviewed with (hiring manager's direct report) even said "It's ultimately the hiring manager's decision, but I hope he picks you." That comment made me skeptical and this is where things took a turn. I had interviewed on a Friday, they said they wouldn't need much time making a decision and that I'd hear early the following week. Well I never heard anything, so I reached out to the recruiter and she said they had another interview come up and needed more time. I thanked them for the update and would wait. I didn't hear for another week and a half and get a note from recruiter that they still hadn't met for feedback and they'd have an answer by the end of the week. At this point the writing was on the wall, and I never wound up hearing a decision...they completely ghosted after a project and 2 rounds of interviews. I fully understand if another candidate comes along last minute or if a new interviewee changes things. What is not ok, is either that they blatantly lied or pandered to me the strung me along. This looked like an incredible company and I was so excited to work for them. But to hear nothing, after sacrificing time/effort on project and multiple rounds is terrible practice. Would prefer to just be told up front and not pandered to and strung along for a ride over 3 months and then no feedback at all.
