      Entrevista

      I was contacted by a recruiter to get my information and then they sent it over. Their recruiter was great to work with however it got a bit rocky from there. The HR interview ended up being solely an attempt to get me to set a salary before I even knew what position I was set to interview for seeing as they had 3 openings at 3 different levels. They also wouldn’t tell me anything about the benefits package so I wouldn’t give them a number without knowing more. Despite this I was still offered an on site interview with a panel of people. The first was an overall manager of the possible teams which boiled down to more of a behavioral interview which again ended with trying to get me to set a salary still not know which job they had in mind. When I asked again which position they said we’ll see so I gave him the range for the Senior position I initially assumed I was interviewing for. Overall it was a good conversation seeing as it was just talking and we ended up running over our time. Following that a team lead and a senior dev came in to continue the interview. In a first for me they just slid over a piece of paper with a copy and pasted questions on it and had me solve it. No instructions from them or on the paper. “Write a function that takes in two numbers and does a power equation”. Because it was so simple I assumed the point of it was to watch out of edge cases so I asked if the data coming into the equation could be trusted or not as well as return type and how they wanted error handling if there was bad data. They seemed taken off guard with the question but just said assume anything. So I told them my solution and then we moved on to q&a about a silly broad range of topics from trivia definitions to micro services and they just kept randomly ping ponging between each other it was clear there wasn’t a plan or any cohesion between the two of them. In the end they ghosted me but thankfully the recruiter got back to me and it sounds like they weren’t looking to pay what they offered.

      Phone Call, then face 2 face interview. Psychological Questions, straight out of Freud's cook book of dark secrets and weird connotations. They make you take a personality test before, it feels like some Scientology cult. Its clear, they only want a specific type of personality, compliant personality, something that your Brady manager can take advantage of
