Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Boston Children's Museum
Entrevista
I found the job opportunity on the Boston Children's Museum website. I sent my cover letter and resume to the listed email, and, within a couple days, I was contacted to set up an interview. I was asked to fill out some paperwork (CORI and SORI forms and an employment application) prior to the interview. I was also asked to bring a professional letter of recommendation to the interview, which I found to be an odd request given that I don't have a stock of generic letters of recommendation. The first interview was pretty straightforward. I was asked why I wanted to work there, what good customer service meant to me, etc. They also asked me to describe a challenge I'd faced at a previous job and wanted to know what exhibits/programs stood out to me (they wanted to see that I'd done my research about the museum). After the initial interview, I was quickly contacted to come in for a second interview. During this interview, I met with two different museum employees and was asked a lot of the same/similar questions.

It was a rather casual interviewer. The pay is very low and is below the minimum wage. Even if they offer health insurance, the low wage wouldn’t feel good. Also I never actually heard back after the interview.
