Awful experience; offer rescinded. Interview process was very easy and straightforward. Spoke with a recruiter about background, basic questions, and salary expectations. Following week was one interview with hiring manager and another. Received verbal offer the following day. About a week later received the official offer. After another week of a pending background check, I received my start date (one month after receiving verbal offer. I submitted all required documents and information and booked my travel for their in-person onboarding. A week before my start date, and after giving my notice to my current employer, I received a call from someone I had never spoken to that my offer was being rescinded due to a lack of funding for the role. Absolutely terrible experience and I would never consider accepting an offer from Booz Allen in the future.
