Had phone interview with BAH recruiter that seemed to go very well. I was later scheduled with an onsite interview that I was extremely excited about. I met with Program Manager and LEAP Program Lead. I expressed my level of excitement and told them how happy I was to be there for this interview. The interview started off with the PM reading what BAH was about, during which I showed my positivity and want to be at the company by interrupting instead of listening. The next part was followed up with questions regarding my experience and skills in which I responded with what I could do and also improvements I could also make if needed. That was then followed up them asking me to share who I was in a minute or less. Finally this was followed up with do you have any questions about BAH. The total time of the interview was about 35 minutes. During the interview I felt that the LEAP program lead was impressed, however I also felt that the PM was not impressed and that there was a lack of chemistry, while I had the skill set, knowledge and know-how, it felt as though they were looking for someone more vanilla as he had the final hiring authority and I'm certain the LEAP program lead fought hard this was a battle that wasn't going to be won in my favor. It's not a bad thing just a part of learning to interview and do business.
