Applied online, was invited to interview the next day. Initial interview was based of standard competency questions and previous work experience. I was also asked me about my availability and whether I was looking for a sales or operations role within the store.
Second we went out onto the shop floor, and I was asked to approach customers and see if they were interested in one of the promotional offers. Then I was taken to an aisle and asked what I would do to improve it.

The process was fairly informal and friendly. I was just asked a few basic questions, followed by a simple exercise on the shop floor handing out samples to customers in the store.
