I participated in the initial stages of the interview process beginning with a positive and engaging conversation with the company’s director. This was followed by an invitation to visit the office, where I had the opportunity to meet the team and observe the day-to-day operations, which provided valuable insight into the work environment. Later that day, I met with a manager to further discuss the role and how my background aligned with the position. The meeting concluded with an assurance that I would receive an update within a few days. Unfortunately, despite following up via email, I did not receive any response or acknowledgment. While the earlier stages of the process were promising and professional, the lack of communication following our discussions was disappointing and fell short of the level of courtesy I would expect from a company that values transparency and candidate engagement.
