I was contacted by email to set up an initial, 30-minute screening interview. It was a video interview with fairly straightforward questions. I was not given any background information about the role (which you typically do at the start of a screening call) and was not given the opportunity to ask any questions. I emailed the interviewer thanking her for the opportunity. About 2-3 weeks later, I received a response thanking me for my email and saying that they were still finalizing their selection. I never heard from them again.
