I applied online and received a call back after about a month or two. The interview started with a phone screen by HR. It was pleasant enough, although he was clearly looking for buzzwords and such and was not a technical recruiter.
Next I was invited to the office for an in person interview. There as a tour of the facilities and projects followed by an hour interview with the team in a conference room. The interview was laid back and it was enjoyable to talk with the other engineers. Everyone was informative and asked relevant questions. There were NO quiz type questions (whiteboarding, etc) only questions about technical work and the systems we have each worked with.

No actual programming questions, just questions about relevant technology and work.

I really enjoyed the initial phone interview with HR. She really sold the company to me, and I was very excited about the position. However, it took many days to schedule a simple phone interview with the hiring manager, and he was not very pleasant once we did schedule the interview. He cared nothing for my past experience in working with autonomous systems (which somehow seems useful at a UAV company) and bulled through all of the questions after hearing that I was inexperienced with some software engineering methodologies. Big surprise there buddy; I am a new graduate. Overall a negative interview experience. I don't think I would consider a position at this company in the future with managers like that.

"Why would I care about someone that has experience in robotics? We need someone that has experience in software, nothing more. What can you bring to the table on this front?"
