Never waste your time if interviewed in Singapore. I was interviewed in Singapore in-person by their "CEO" in a cafe meet-up what he called as "first chat". Since the beginning he was zealously trying to convince me that he knew everything about AI, and was calling several fruitful areas of AI as worthless on the way presumably thinking that that would give him an authority in the area. When I said that I am an IIT graduate from India, he claimed that he was also able to get offer from it, which is known for one of the most difficult screening tests in the world that tests a person's math and physics problem-solving capabilities. When I said that I worked on graph-neural networks and have a working paper, he wanted me to show it. Due to the laughable self-praise he tried to peddle, I thought it would be a waste of time to go through my 15-paged double-columned single-spaced long working paper in font size 10pt. I didn't want to show it my laptop. I had sent the link to the preprint via email so that he can open from his phone. I visibly saw him getting agitated. Then came the ultimate part. He asked me to explain the paper. I talked in full mathematical terms devoid of the domain the paper is applied to, since he claimed that he knew everything. Having not understood the methods adopted in abstract language, he jumped to the area of application, and ended the interview (or "chat" as what he called) by saying, "you don't have a clear understanding of how a shopping mall works". Never ever waste your time if the interview is scheduled in Singapore.
