I reached the fourth round of interviews, considering I was assigned a second test project after completing a phone interview, a copywriting exercise, and a panel video interview. Blue Bear waited for a minimum of a week between each step listed above. I'm sure they would've dragged things out even more if I didn't make it my policy to follow up on their silence after 6-8 business days. Glacial pace aside, everything seemed to be going great -- they heaped praise on me during the third round video call and stressed that my second assignment was strictly voluntary, despite springing it on me in the meeting. I (foolishly) insisted on making them 100% confident in my fit. They ghosted me. I never even got a confirmation email after sending through my latest project; nothing from BBC in almost three weeks (I sent a follow-up email four days ago). All it would've taken was a two-sentence template response to give me some closure after all the effort I put in. Instead, their unprofessionalism speaks volumes. To cheer me up, my fiancee and roommate collaborated on a perfect new name for the agency. It even preserves their acronym: Blue Balls Creative.
