      The founders—a married couple—were among the most unprofessional people I’ve encountered in a hiring process. Over the course of two years, they reached out to me intermittently, conducting multiple rounds of interviews without clear structure or follow-through. At one point, they even mentioned that an employee had gone completely AWOL—something I’d never expect to hear during an interview process. They also changed the interview format with less than 24 hours’ notice, telling me to “just come on” anyway. It felt chaotic and unprepared. They appear to be hiring Rust developers well below market rates, while heavily leaning on equity as a major component of compensation. In my view, the equity offers little to no actual value. Although they recently raised $2 million, it’s unclear whether this was true venture capital or another form of financing. Despite having been around for years and raising funds, they now seem to be attempting a reboot—yet the equity offered doesn’t reflect a fresh start. Meanwhile, they’re entering a competitive space with several more established players. Lastly, one individual listed as an “employee” hasn’t updated their LinkedIn to reflect any affiliation with the company. Is this someone with multiple jobs? Or just another indicator of internal disorganization? In short: the entire experience felt like a waste of time. I would strongly advise others to do their due diligence before engaging with this team.
