Applied online to an open position, had a phone screening interview with the recruiter, then had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Following the interview with the hiring manager had a 4+ hour panel interview with various individuals from the team and adjacent teams. Throughout the interview process I had to repeatedly ask for information from the recruiter multiple times in order to get questions answered or additional information. Scheduling of the interviews was also very difficult and resulted in very little notice. Following the panel interview, the recruiter said I would hear something more at the end of that week, and then I was completely ghosted. Followed up a few times over the course of a month and never got a reply of any kind. Not a big deal to have not been offered the position, but I found the interview process totally unprofessional and it soured me on a company I've long admired. Between the application, prep time, three interviews, and various follow ups I invested quite a bit of time. To totally disregard questions during the interview process and to completely ghost a candidate instead of just saying they've gone in a different direction and both extremely poor form.
