Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Blizzard Entertainment

      Entrevista

The interview process took about 4 months total. The initial contact was an email from the recruiter asking various logistical questions (why Blizzard, salary expectations, relocation, etc). First interview was with the Hiring Manager and one other UX Designer on the team I was specifically applying for. It was mostly questions about my experiences in UX thus far, how that might translate to the gaming industry, some other general UX questions, gaming, etc. I also got to ask a lot of questions which they were able to build on and ask questions in return. Second interview was with the same two people from the first interview plus a couple more from the team. This interview was mostly spent on a UX Test to gauge how I problem-solve as a designer. Apart from that, I also had the opportunity to ask more questions and was very conversational. We got more into team-specific topics and I was asked more about my professional interests, UX experiences, how I work, etc. Third and fourth interviews were with others from the team in different roles. This was also very conversational and was more focused on behavioral questions and how I might collaborate with others as a UX designer. I was also asked some technical questions on how I might approach UX problems on certain games I am familiar with. I was also able to ask a lot of questions here as well. Overall, the interview process was quite positive and I felt like I was able to gauge and speak with the team as if I was collaborating with them. This allowed me to get some insight on how I might fit into the team if I were to get the role. I was also challenged in interesting ways and enjoyed problem-solving along with those on the team. While many of the questions were more advanced than the typical interviews I have had experience with, the questions were very purposeful.

      Pregunta 1

Is there a specific part of games UX you're interested in? If so, what is a problem you see in a game you're familiar with and what are some recommendations you would have for redesigning it?
