      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Blizzard Entertainment (Irvine, CA) en jun 2019

      Entrevista

      A Blizzard recruiter reached out to me (they'd already had my resume on file, as I had applied unsuccessfully to a different role a few months prior) and explained that this was a newly created role and if I'd be interested in hearing about it. After having a discussion with the recruiter (my skill set, background, passion for the role), he said he would have the hiring manager give me a call the following week. A week later, the 45 minute call with the hiring manager went well and he said they'd like to move to the on-site stage. The Blizzard recruiter then scheduled me for an on-site all day interview to happen in 2 weeks time. He prepped me for the interview, told me to review the company's core values, and said he'd share an itinerary as the date neared. He would also be available for any questions. On the day of the interview, I met with a gambit of people: the hiring manager, peers, people I'd be managing, other stakeholders. 13 people total! The day was tough, some questions very difficult but fair. Everyone asked good, solid questions, talked about the company and culture, and most importantly gave me time to ask questions myself. At the end of the day, the recruiter gave me a campus tour, a swag bag filled with Blizzard goodies (backpack, corgi stuffed animal, pens, notepad, etc.), and a timeline of what the next steps were. I must say, this recruiter was absolutely on the ball! In my career, I've engaged with plenty of recruiters (both internal and external), and this Blizzard recruiter was the best one ever. He was so reliable and if he said he would call me by a certain date/time, he would (even if it was to say "I still don't have an update for you."). Super on the ball--thank you so much for being awesome! Total time from initial phone call to offer was about 5 weeks.
