Me postulé a través de una facultad o universidad. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en BlackRock (San Francisco, CA) en ago 2011
Entrevista
On campus interview was first. Interviews are short (30 minutes or less) since the interviewer is trying to see many people in one day.
In person interview occurs on same day with several other candidates. All the candidates start in the same room and get an overview presentation from HR.
Next, you spend about 45 minutes in a 1:1 interview with four or five people. Interviewers generally do a good job of trying to put you at ease, and they realize you may be nervous.
These interviews are very technical. Topics covered include algorithms and data structures, Java, SQL, relational database design, OO design, etc. They also ask basic finance questions, and expect the candidate to know something about the company.
Four interviews, forty five mins each. Met folks from different teams for their rotation program. Everyone was super smart and clearly excited about working there. Didn't end up taking the job because I decided to stay outside Chicago.
There was fitst technical round out of three round.
In my first round they asked a DSA Coding question. I do not quite remember the question that was asked, but it did not go well and was rejected.
