My experience with this company was very poor. Upon entering the first technical interview, the very first thing said to me by the interviewer was "oh... I didn't know you're a woman" with an audible pause after the "oh" and then we introduced ourselves. I should have left then and there but decided to try and stick with it and give the interviewer the benefit of the doubt and maybe it was just a slip. The rest of the interview felt like an interrogation: I was asked very specific memory questions despite a math research background, and when I answered wrong, I would be pressed multiple times the exact same question even though it was obvious I didn't know it. The interviewer was very condescending when this would happen and seemed like he didn't want anything to do with the meeting. Part of the interview was also supposed to be a live coding portion, but due to unforeseen reasons, the interviewer said the platform wasn't letting him in, so he couldn't test my coding capabilities. He then proceeded to end the interview without any update about whether to reschedule the interview so I could show someone my coding or if I should do it on my own time. It's now been 2 weeks since and I haven't heard anything back regarding next step/rejection or even to actually complete what I was supposed to in the initial interview. This unprofessionalism from the very start of the interview felt incredibly discriminatory and I would not recommend applying as a woman unless you are fully prepared for a reaction to your gender like I received.
