Had 2 stage interviews one with HR and one on MS teams with the sales managers. I had a 3rd stage in person meeting booked which I had taken off annual leave from my current job. At 4:30pm the day before my interview a person from HR called me and said they now filled the position and won’t be interviewing me… they said that the candidate was offered the role on the day they called me and was accepted the same day. They also mentioned that the candidate was interviewed for a final stage 2 weeks ago so they waited 2 weeks to offer the contract and also decided a day before a final stage interview with myself… told them this was very unprofessional considering all the factors. They tried to say whenever they have another opening available they will reach out to me but I declined this. Never have I ever experienced something like this before.
