To begin, HR did not show up on the call we had previously agreed which required rescheduling. Once I proceeded past the screening interview, the hiring showed up a few minutes late looking like they just woke up - disheveled and unprepared with questions that were vague and aimless.
Overall, it felt like my time was not respected.

The interview process at BioRender was the most exhausting interview experience I've ever had. While the people seemed friendly, the process itself was excessively demanding. Prepare yourself for an overwhelming commitment before embarking on this tedious journey. They require a staggering seven interviews for any position, starting with a recruiting screen that feels like a formal interview. On top of that, you'll need to invest several days preparing a 60 minute presentation that feels like free labor, covering the company's history and proposing ideas. Additionally, there's a 90-minute interview where you're expected to detail your entire work history from the past 10 years. The entire process takes 6-8 weeks, with a minimum of one full week dedicated to preparation and interviews. Before committing to this exhausting process, carefully consider if it's worth your time and effort. BioRender's interview demands are beyond what most candidates are accustomed to, and it's crucial to understand the extent of the commitment required.
