It was a Teams invite, online video interview for Airtel Payments Bank. They had their own zoom link airtel.zoom.us, which had a lot of trouble in the duration of the interview, causing the screen to freeze completely, and resulting my laptop to hang. Not a very smooth experience. The interviewer almost had 9 years of experience but was very rude. It was not at all a pleasant experience. He was a pretty senior member in the organization, and was asking good questions, but his attitude was pretty bad. There were times when he exclaimed, "I'm sure you won't know this at all." Just imagine, how my morale would dip after hearing such words. Extremely arrogant nature. This left a pretty bad image of Airtel on my mind.
I told him at the beginning that I'm not aware of REST webservices, and he said, fine, no issues, and continued with the interview. Later on, after pestering the HR for days to respond regarding my interview result, I get to know that he had given my feedback with comments, that REST services knowledge was not there, so rejecting. Well. we could have saved both our times in the beginning of the interview if REST was so important.
