Contacted me for a data role and had ongoing back and forth exchanges with their Talent Acquisition team to confirm the actual interview with the hiring Manager, just to only find out last minute that the interview needs to be cancelled due to invalid grounds, and nothing has been followed up from their Talent Acquisition team ever since then. Totally unprofessional hiring practices coming from a China publicly listed company. Definitely will never consider a role with them anytime in the near future.

On the interview day, the interviewer was from China and conducted the session in Chinese, which made real-time translation difficult. The interview lasted about 20 minutes, with questions starting immediately. At the end, I was asked to take a Python test, but I declined as I’m not fluent in Python.

Hailing from China, they emphasized the importance of being prepared to acquire technical skills in Chinese—a valuable insight for future candidates.
