During the onset of the recruitment process, a salary range for this role was confirmed. After investing significant time, energy and effort for 5 rounds of interviews and clearing all of them, I was told that Beyond won't even honour the lowest range of the salary that was initially communicated. Senior employees like who has worked more than 2 decades would appreciate upfront transparency and honesty and my recommendation to any other candidates would be to shoot across a MoM email so that none of the verbal discussion is lost and it is not put on you as misunderstanding. It needs to be understood that candidates not only invest a lot during the interviews but also prior to them as part of any necessary preparation so it is not right to waste their time. The only positive is that I met with some of the best interviewers and had a pleasant experience interacting with some of them.
