My friend a current employee referred me and I handed in my resume to the front desk in person. Received a phone interview the same day at around 5PM. Was asked why I want to work at Best Buy, what my availability looks like, and what good customer service looks to me. Fairly simple questions. Scheduled an in person interview on the same phone call. Came in a week after the phone call and had an interview with the GM. I don't remember a single interview question, I just ran through who I am and why I want to work here and we continued to have a casual conversation about the sales job and what makes Best Buy unique. Was called 9 days later to arrange a second interview which occurred 6 days from the phone call so total 15 days wait after the first interview. The second interview was not really the interview, it was just the GM telling me I got the job and filled out paperwork to start.

Easy. Know basic computer skills and you’ll get the job. Office suite, Apple and windows. Know about smart home and home automation as well as you’ll be pulled to other departments.

Fairly straightforward, expect the normal interview style question. Always show up early it displays initiative. otherwise, trust your gut and skills most store managers are looking for honest, hardworking people.
