Process was easy. Did an initial phone interview, which their max hourly for the position was too low for me. (It would have been $1/hr reduction.) Ended call nicely leaving possibility open for the future. Clinic Director called a few days later & basically stated he's the boss, he can "pull some strings" to get better pay for experience vs. hiring someone w/out experience in PT. I said okay to meeting with him. Interview went great, went on to meet with area manager as well during a 2nd interview. They made an offer that was the same amount I had said no to during the phone interview b/c it was too low. Clinic Director essentially lied to me just to me in to an interview, I guess he assumed once I got in I would take a lesser offer. I do feel lied to & that my time was wasted, so I ended up declining the offer even though the company does sound decent.
