Received an e-mail through Indeed and started the discussion. Obtained the job description which was initially for an Account Manager. We then set up a phone interview where the director from Seoul, South Korea shared that she was impressed with how I could articulate and present myself over the phone. We then set up an in-person interview where we spoke about the role and due to my background was offered the Sales & Business Development Marketing Manager position. I had the opportunity to meet the CEO who was visiting from Brazil but when I asked if I could meet with my potential teammates, they shrugged it off and did not allow it, even after they made the offer. This was the red flag which I should have caught and realize that there was some organizational dysfunction.
