      Entrevista

Weirdest experience ever. I have never had a nearly 2-3 month long interview experience before. A thing to note, the salary being offered was way lower than industry level and yet they made the interview process long drawn. I have lucky enough to interview with Meta and Google before and despite being so meticulous, never have they made an interview process 4-5 steps long. Bellroy's experience was just weird - Applied in October, only to be rejected 2 weeks later. Received a follow up from them in November and they said they wanted to review the application and wanted to arrange a first interview. Did it with the recruiter and project manager. This should have been the first red flag that they don't know what they are looking for. - Arranged it for late November/early December, after the interview, I was asked to do a psychometric test (took nearly 2 hours on that!). - Arranged a in-person 4 hour work test in late December. Had a bunch of tasks given, barely any introduction of the people I would be working this task with and so I spent 4 hours talking to people about projects. People who didn't seem to want to even be part of this work test, clearly because they have their own things to get done. At the end of it, had a debrief on what I did and discussed how to move forward. - Was told that another round of in person interview is needed. Waited for a confirmation and they only replied when I reached out. Did it in mid Jan, same thing, go into the office and do similar questions and answers again. This is where I brought up an issue or weakness I had, that I was working to address. This should have been the next red flag, no idea what they were trying to achieve here as the discussion seemed very generic. - Was told to wait for next steps and the recruiting team once again, didn't reach out until I did, a week later. Was told that they'd like to move forward although they were worried about the weakness we had discussed, told me that they were willing to work with me on it and do the reference checks next, having discussed salary details. - Sent them the details of my references and still no response from them until I reached out, no surprise there. A week and a half later - this is early Feb now, I get an email saying that they will not be moving forward with me. *surprise surprise* - Arranged for a feedback call and in the call it was mentioned that despite everything being good, they did not want to move forward because they feel that the weakness (which they were supposedly okay with previously) was a concern now and they did not think I was a good choice anymore. I gave them my feedback and told that this has been a long draining process, just frustrating to have spent so much time with them. As someone who liked their products and ways of working, I think this entire process, just put me off. I don't think I'd ever apply there again, knowing that I'd have to do the whole psychometric and work test again.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

Round 1 - What's the hardest decision you've had to make in your life? Work test - Can you help prioritize these tasks? Why did you do as such? Final round - Do you feel that you would need a supervisor to help you deal with a difficult stakeholder?
